Author Sandhya Menon to Appear in Ocean County Library’s “Dive Into YA” Series

April 07, 2021

TOMS RIVER – Bestselling Young Adult author Sandhya Menon will conduct a virtual discussion as part of the Ocean County Library’s “Dive Into YA: It’s Not Just for Teens” program at 6 PM Monday, April 19.

The Colorado-based author, whose latest YA titles are Of Curses and Kisses and 10 Things I Hate About Pinky, also publishes adult romance novels under the name Lily Menon.

Ms. Menon’s credits include the “Dimpleverse Books” and “St. Rosetta’s Academy” Young Adult romance series, three anthologies, and several stand-alone novels, including the adult romance Make Up Break Up.

According to her website, www.sandhyamenon.com, her literature contains “lots of kissing, girl power, and swoony boys.” She has been featured on the Today Show, Cosmopolitan, Teen Vogue, NPR, Seventeen, Entertainment Weekly, and Buzzfeed.

The series aims to show the increasing appeal of Young Adult literature beyond teens. Fast-paced and conceptually bold, YA literature addresses real issues, presents diverse characters, and sparks the imagination.

The series is presented in partnership with Booktowne, Manasquan, NJ. Attendees will receive a 10% discount for Booktowne that can be used through their website.

Registration for this free program is required at www.theoceancountylibrary.org/events. Registrants will receive a link by email to join the program.
