Tuesday through Thursday 9 AM – 9 PM

Long Beach Island, Upper Shores
Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 9 AM – 5 PM
Tuesday and Wednesday 9 AM – 9 PM

Beachwood, Island Heights, Plumsted, Point Pleasant Beach,
Tuckerton, Waretown, Bay Head, Whiting
Monday 10 AM – 9 PM
Tuesday through Friday 10 AM – 5 PM
Saturday 10 AM – 2 PM
 

*The Toms River, Lakewood, and Stafford Branches are also open on Sundays from 1pm - 5pm year round.

Check in, Check out, & Fines

Contact-less pickup of materials is available, using our self-pick up holds and our self-check kiosks. Please remember to bring your library card to use the kiosks.

The Ocean County Library is Fine Free effective July 1, 2021 and no longer charges late fines for overdue items. For more information see: https://theoceancountylibrary.org/policies-fees-forms/fine-free 

Fees for replacing lost items may be paid at the self-check kiosks or library service desk at your local branch.

Public Spaces

Face masks are strongly recommended for both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals in indoor settings where there is increased risk. For more information see: New Jersey Covid-19 Information Hub.

Library meeting rooms and quiet study areas are available. Please check with your local branch for availability.
