Ocean County Library offers a vast collection of video games

TOMS RIVER – If you enjoy video games, the Ocean County Library has plenty to choose from in a variety of formats.

Video games available from game consoles Playstation, Wii, and XBOX are available at the Ocean County Library.

Popular games like “STAR WARS: The Force Unleashed” is available in several formats along with “LEGO Harry Potter”, “Minecraft,” “ Lost Planet,” “Halo” and many others.

Games are available at the library’s branches in Jackson, Toms River, Little Egg Harbor, Barnegat, Lakewood, Plumsted, Berkeley and Stafford for age groups of children, teens and adults.

Every first Thursday of the month the Toms River Branch, 101 Washington St. Toms River hosts its League of Teen Gamers from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Teen Zone on the second floor. The hour long program involves a variety of different activities including video games. Other activities include board games, crafts and programs involving the branch’s maker space Sparks’s Lab.
