TOMS RIVER – Enjoy an afternoon of American standards and original compositions by guitarists, composer and educator Brian Betz at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18 at the township branch, of the Ocean County Library, 101 Washington St.

Betz, a past winner of the Betty Carter International Jazz Competition, is a faculty member of Rowan University. He has played at the Kennedy Center and the Cape May Jazz Festival.
