December Tech Workshops Coming to Manchester Library

MANCHESTER – The Manchester Branch of the Ocean County Library will host three tech workshops for adults in December.

“Using an iPad for Green Screen Photography” 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3. iPad users will be taught how to use the Do Ink green screen app as well as the basics of green screen technology and adding layers to original images when creating photographs or videos. Before class, participants will need to download the $3 Do Ink Green Screen app onto their device from the App Store. Contact Librarian Alice Parfitt with any questions at 732-657-7600, ext. 4100.

“Using eLibrary to Download Library Materials to Your Android Device” 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11. Learn to borrow library materials on your Android tablet or smartphone using Overdrive. Overdrive offers close to 13,000 ebook and audiobook titles all for free. Participants will also learn how to download the app and read and return items. Fully charged phone or tablet and a valid Ocean County Library card are required.

“Digital Materials Available from the Ocean County Library” 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17. Find out about apps and databases from Ocean County Library that will give you free access to magazines, ebooks, audiobooks, music, comic books, and videos on your computer, tablet, or smartphone.

The branch is located at 21 Colonial Drive.
