February Art Exhibit by Rita Apsegaite-Clemens at Toms River Library

TOMS RIVER – The Toms River Branch of the Ocean County Library will host “Drawings ‘From The Past,’” images by Rita Apsegaite-Clemens, in the McConnell Gallery throughout February.

Rita, a native of Lithuania, is a professional artist, graphic designer, photographer and art teacher with a passion for drawing and watercolor.

She has studied at Kaunas College of Art and Vilnius Academy of Art in Lithuania, and now studies computer graphics and photography at Ocean County College, Toms River.

Home Magazine has published her illustrations, and awarded her second place in its Logo Design category.

Rita says, “The artwork presented in the exhibit is a project from my past, drawings that I created when I was traveling in Europe. They include architectural drawings and landscape drawings from Lithuania. The exhibit also includes a variety of artwork done at Vilnius Art Academy.”

The branch is located at 101 Washington Street. Registration is not required to view this free exhibit.
