Fighting Fraud Seminar Coming to Jackson Library

JACKSON – The Jackson Branch of the Ocean County Library will host “Fighting Fraud Seminar” at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 4.

Learn how to not get scammed. Melanie Hazim, Director of Outreach for the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs will present “Fighting Fraud,” the newest component of the Division of Consumer Affairs’ campaign to empower New Jerseyans with the info and tools necessary to stop fraud before it affects them.

Fraud and other criminal scams prey on potential victims through phone call, emails, and other means. They may include the IRS scam, lottery, sweepstakes, and grandparent scams.

The branch is located at 2 Jackson Drive.
