Manchester Library to Hold Technology Workshops in March

MANCHESTER – The Ocean County Library, Manchester Branch will offer three technology workshops for adults during March.

“Creativebug®: The Library's New Maker Database,” 2 p.m. Thursday, Mar. 5. Use your valid OCL card for free, unlimited access to thousands of online arts and crafts classes and workshops taught by renowned artists. New classes appear daily. Work at your own pace. Branch staffers will show you how to navigate this fun and exciting database. By the end of the session, you’ll be able to make a quick craft.“Valueline® and Morningstar® Financial Databases,” 2 p.m. Wednesday, Mar. 11. Use your Ocean County Library card to get free access to two highly regarded financial tools. Learn how to navigate through stocks, mutual funds, ETFs and other information.

“Introduction to the Internet,” 10 a.m. Monday, Mar. 30. Learn how to access the Internet, conduct online searches and look up information by topic. Participants should be comfortable using a computer mouse.

One-on-one lessons are also available by appointment. Individual one-hour appointments are available for help with basic technology concerns such as downloading library materials to a phone or tablet.

The branch is located at 21 Colonial Drive.
