SURF CITY – Without sketching, in the wink of an eye, Hou-Tien Cheng takes ordinary paper and cuts it into images that spark the imagination. The Ocean County Library is pleased to present his Master paper cutting demonstration, 2 PM Tuesday, June 27.

The 1976 U.S. Master of Paper Cutting has demonstrated his dexterous art for more than 50 years in libraries, schools and museums throughout the United States, and devoted four years to conducting workshops at the American Museum of Natural History.

According to weebly.com, the Jersey Shore-based illustrator, designer, performer and instructor is capable of re-creating a human likeness in less than a minute.
