New OCL Online Book Club Discussion: The Alice Network

March 25, 2021

TOMS RIVER – Have you always wanted to join a book club, but couldn’t find the time? The Ocean County Library extends an invitation to enroll in the free One Book OCL Online Book Club, and take part wherever you need to be.

The next novel under discussion, through May 20, is The Alice Network, by Kate Quinn.

Goodreads calls The Alice Network “an enthralling new historical novel.” It centers on two women in 1947 London - one an embittered World War I spy, the other a scandalized American socialite – whose encounter changes the trajectories of their lives.

Ocean County Library cardholders and non-cardholders are eligible to participate. Cardholders can download digital versions through the Library’s Freading®, OverDrive® and hoopla® services, or reserve print or audio versions.

One Book OCL is a private, moderated online forum in partnership with PBC Guru. Community members discuss books and network. Members participate according to their schedules, day or night. Each title undergoes discussion for about two months.
