LONG BEACH ISLAND – The Ocean County Library will host “Afterschool STEAM” 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15 at the Long Beach Island Branch.

This STEAM-based program gives children the opportunity to learn together through play. Creative crafts and engaging activities are chosen to strengthen late childhood social, mental, and fine motor development. Dress for a mess.

This program is geared toward children ages 6 to 10.

The branch is located at 217 S. Central Ave., Surf City.
