LONG BEACH ISLAND – The Long Beach Island Branch of the Ocean County Library will host an art exhibit by the John Mathis Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in the branch’s Meeting Room throughout February.

A reception will take place 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2. During the reception there will be period clothing in addition to the art on display.

The exhibit will celebrate 100 years of women’s right to vote and the women’s suffrage movement.

There will be an additional month-long exhibit in the lobby showcase featuring items with significance to the movement.

The branch is located at 217 S. Central Ave., Surf City.
