LONG BEACH ISLAND – The Long Beach Island Branch of the Ocean County Library will host “How to Recycle the Right Way” at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 2.

Not all recyclable items are equal. Some will contaminate the load whether it is dirty or the wrong material.

Angela Anderson, Sustainability Coordinator for Long Beach Township, will teach you how to recycle the right way so we can get the maximum for our money and extend the life of our landfills.

This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Island Library.

The branch is located at 217 S. Central Ave, Surf City.
