Ocean County Library Lacey Branch to Offer LGBTQA+ Health Services Virtual Program

LACEY TOWNSHIP – During Pride Month, discover medical services and support groups that serve you or your loved ones in New Jersey’s LGBTQA+ community. The Ocean County Library Lacey Branch will offer a virtual program, “Be Proud,” 6 PM Monday, June 27.

Daniel A. Fernandez, LGBT Health Navigator for the RWJ Barnabas Health PROUD Gender Center of New Jersey, will lead the discussion.

Fernandez specializes in supporting transgender individuals, LGBTQA+ communities of color, and people with disabilities. He trained educational, medical, nonprofit and social service workers in the Transgender Training Institute, Philadelphia.

Registration at www.theoceancountylibrary.org/events is required to attend this free program. Registrants will receive Zoom links by email.
