TOMS RIVER – Ocean County Library’s Toms River Branch will reopen to the public on Friday, July 14th after a temporary closure due to an HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) system failure. The Library will resume its regular hours of operation from 9 AM - 5 PM.

The Library has been working hard to explore alternate options to cool the building in an effort to reopen to the public as soon as possible. A temporary external chiller has been installed to provide AC for the building until the HVAC system has been repaired.

Materials on hold for customers will continue to be extended through Monday, July 17 while the Library works to resume operations.
