LAVALLETTE – The music of the ‘60s is a soundtrack for a generation, and its influence continues today. International singing star Maggie Worsdale will perform “1960s Classics” at the Ocean County Library Upper Shores Branch, 7 PM Wednesday, September 14.
Maggie will mine her vast repertoire for some of the most popular songs of the era, made famous by the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Elvis Presley, and other memorable artists.
The multi-faceted song stylist is familiar to fans as the lead singer of the jazz revue band, Sweet Whiskey. She has lent her talents to the annual Sinatra Birthday Bash at the Count Basie Theater, Red Bank.
Maggie has released four albums, guested on several more, and appeared at major concert halls, cabarets, and jazz venues throughout the US and Europe.
