Receive Tips from a Rutgers Master Gardener During Tuckerton Library Association’s Annual Open House
April 1, 2026TUCKERTON – The Tuckerton Branch of the Ocean County Library will host its annual open house for the Tuckerton Library Association, featuring a presentation by the Rutgers Master Gardeners from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 22.
Debra Cowles, a Rutgers Master Gardener, will explain optimal soil conditions and best native plants to grow in our area. Attendees will also get an explanation of the Rutgers Master Gardener program and what is available free of charge to local residents.
Refreshments will be served courtesy of the Tuckerton Library Association.
The Friends are volunteers who support the Library as a community resource through fundraising, programs, and advocacy. New members are always welcome. Applications are available at all OCL branches and reading centers and on the OCL website.
