Share Ocean County Library Experiences During SnapShot Day 2021

January 28, 2021

TOMS RIVER – What’s your fondest Ocean County Library recollection of 2020? Share your stories, thoughts, and photos throughout February, as libraries statewide observe SnapShot Day.

The annual celebration by the New Jersey State Library and New Jersey Library Association documents the wonderful people, places, events, materials, and experiences that make up a day in the life of a library.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic began in March 2020, the Ocean County Library has found innovative ways to meet community needs. Virtual programs, Take & Makes, door-side pickup, and parking lot WiFi symbolize the Library’s efforts.

During February, share pictures, comments and stories of favorite Ocean County Library memories on social media, using the hashtags #snapshotdaynj and #OCLsnapshot.

Pick up, fill out and return your OCL story at your favorite branch, or email your photos and stories to social@theoceancountylibrary.org. All stories will be featured anonymously on OCL platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest.

Watch for your story to appear in the special “SnapShot 2021” edition of OCL Voices, the Library quaranzine.
