Suspense Master Gretchen McNeil to Join Ocean County Library’s “Dive into YA” Virtual Author Series

TOMS RIVER –The Ocean County Library will welcome acclaimed horror-suspense novelist Gretchen McNeil to its “Dive Into YA: It’s Not Just for Teens” virtual discussion series, 6 PM Thursday, August 26. 

The dialogs aim to illustrate how real issues, vivid writing, diverse characters and imaginative concepts propel Young Adult literature beyond traditional age categories. 

Ms. McNeil is the creator of the “Don’t Get Mad” duology. Get Even and Get Dirty were adapted to a video series by BBC/Netflix. The televised version of Ten aired on Lifetime. 

The release of #noescape extends the “#murdertrending” series to a trilogy, which includes #murdertrending and #murderfunding.. She also wrote Possess, Relic, 3:59, and I’m Not Your Manic Pixie Dream Girl. Her novels are available in six languages. 

The series is presented in partnership with Booktowne, Manasquan, NJ. Attendees will receive a 10% discount for Booktowne that can be used through their website.
