Tech Classes Coming to Manchester Library

MANCHESTER – The Manchester Branch of the Ocean County Library will host tech classes in the month of November.

“Microsoft Word Basics” 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 1. Learn how to create and format a document, write text, adjust font size, space paragraphs, save your document, and print. Participants should be familiar with using a computer mouse.

“Exploring Languages Using Pronunciator” 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29. Learn a foreign language for free. This class will provide an overview of the Pronunciator database, its features, and how to access it and set up an account. Pronunciator offers 80 languages. Included are basic phrases and vocabulary as well as hours of instruction, interactive drills and quizzes, speech recognition for pronunciation, and downloadable audio lessons and phrasebooks.

The branch is located at 21 Colonial Drive.
