JACKSON – The Jackson Branch of the Ocean County Library will host a variety of programs throughout the month of July.

  • “Afternoon Film” 2:30 p.m. Thursday, July 11. Watch a movie on the big screen without the admission fees of a movie theater. Call the branch or visit the website for film information.
  • “Mosquito and Tick Prevention” 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 16. Join pest control experts from Mosquito Joe to learn how to fight mosquitos and ticks at home.
  • “Brain Joggers” 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 22. Exercise your mind by playing games and working puzzles.
  • “Evening Film” 6 p.m. Monday, July 22. Watch a movie on the big screen without the admission fees of a movie theater. Call the branch or visit the website for film information.
  • “Coloring for Adults” 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 23. Rediscover the joy of coloring. Coloring sheets and art supplies will be provided.
  • “Mindfulness Meditation for Beginners” 11 a.m. Friday, July 26. Learn to integrate the gentle art of mindfulness. This class will focus on working with conscious awareness, breath, and a body scan. The meditation will be followed by a Q&A. Comfortable clothes are required.
