Various Programs Coming to Jackson Library

JACKSON – Various programs are coming to the Jackson Branch of the Ocean County Library throughout December.

“Holiday Concert” 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1. Join classical flutist and guitarist Keith Calmes as they present a selection of holiday favorites. This will include selections from Bach, Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker”, and a variety of popular international carols.

“Afternoon Film” 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13. See a free film on the big screen without the admission fees of a movie theatre. Visit theoceancountylibrary.org/events or call the branch for film information. Film rated R.

“Evening Film” 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17. See a free film on the big screen without the admission fees of a movie theatre. Visit theoceancountylibrary.org/events or call the branch for film information. Film rated PG-13.

“Meditation: Happy New Year” 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27. Join a guided meditation, discover your true self through reflection and reconnection, and consciously accept and release the past. Revitalize this holiday season and create your own vision for the New Year. Some meditation experience required.

The branch is located at 2 Jackson Drive.
