Vintage Radio Broadcast Program Coming to Toms River Library

TOMS RIVER – The Toms River Branch of the Ocean County Library will host “WREP – When Radio Entertained People” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28.

WREP is a theater group devoted to spreading laughter via their tributes to vintage radio. The group was founded by Michael Glenn Miller in Toms River, and has graced the library’s stage numerous times. This time they are performing “Arsenic and Old Lace” and a Burns and Allen episode, “Gracie Takes Up Crime Solving.”

The branch is located at 101 Washington Street.

Free parking is available daily after 5 p.m. or anytime in the county parking garage on Hooper Avenue.
