Experience the Strength of Indigenous Song and Dance at the Ocean County Library Lacey Branch
October 20, 2025FORKED RIVER – In honor of Native American Heritage Month, the Lacey Branch of the Ocean County Library will host “The Strength of Song and Dance” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, November 13.
The Lenapehoking Reestablishment Project as well as the Ellis-Gould family of the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape tribe will perform music and dances traditional to the Lenape and Nanticoke tribes, and modern to all indigenous people. They will also educate attendees of a variety of art forms.
The Lenapehoking Reestablishment Project is geared towards the promoting of Lenape awareness, supporting of tribal youth, and public relations.
