TOMS RIVER – The Ocean County Library Lakewood Branch will be closed Friday, July 29, for precautionary maintenance in the interest of safety for patrons, visitors, and staffers. The closure stems from the July 27 discovery of bed bugs in a drop box located outside the building. Library officials proactively authorized the building’s closure the same day.
